Liquidator87 Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 How can I tell DVBViewer to automatically switch to a channel before turning off? Quote
Guest Lars_MQ Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 what would be the use of such thing? Quote
Gioxy Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 If you want to start DVBViewer with a specific channel you can simply add a parameter: • -c = DVBViewer shows no channel at first (standby) • -cNumber: = Switches to the given channel number. Example: c:\ program files\DVBViewer\DVBViewer.exe -c12 • -cName: = Switches to the channel with the given name. Example: c:\ program files\DVBViewer\DVBViewer.exe -cMTV Central Quote
Derrick Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 what would be the use of such thing? If you watch a porn channel and forget to switch to a "normal" program before closing the DVBViewer the wife will be surprised when opening the dvbv for watching her soap show Quote
Liquidator87 Posted February 5, 2007 Author Posted February 5, 2007 I'm sorry but I need to switch to a channel before exit. Quote
Guest Lars_MQ Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 this is not possible, you could construct of course something a batchfile or a script around the DVBViewer otherwise it's only on startup. And since you won't give any explanations there is nothing which shows a real need to integrate such thing. Quote
Liquidator87 Posted February 5, 2007 Author Posted February 5, 2007 I'm sorry, I wanted to do this because I noticed that DVBViewer crash when I close it from some channels, but not from some others. This causes me problems when I've a timed record which turn off the computer at the end; if DVBViewer crash, it won't turn off the computer. Quote
Gioxy Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Have you tried turning on "Settings / Options / Disable LNB on completion"? Quote
Liquidator87 Posted February 5, 2007 Author Posted February 5, 2007 Yes, and also "Disable error messages"... no way Quote
