AndersB Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 When watching National Geographic channel from my provider (Telenor, Thor 2) DVBViewer decodes two audio stream simultaneously - english in the right channel and norwegian in the left channel. This only happens with this channel and only during some natgeo intermissions between programs. The programs themselves and commercials are decoded correctly. This is not a problem with my STB, can someone explain why this happens and if there is anything I can do to correct it? Quote
SnoopyDog Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 This is a standard broadcasting mode that some stations use to broadcast 2 languages simultanously. Many TV sets and many satellite receivers have a special button on their remote controls where you can select between channel A only, channel B only or A+B/stereo. In DVBViewer, you can assign the A/B button of your remote control to the function "Stereo/Left/Right". You will find this under "Settings" - "Options..." - "Input" - "Audio". Quote
