dbercot Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Hi, I've just bought DVBViewer (which is great ;-)), but I have a problem with H264 channels. When I want to watch one, DVBViewer crashed... I'd like to have a light configuration, so, I've just installed DVBViewer and ffdshow-tryout [http://ffdshow-tryout.sourceforge.net/]. In DirectX section, I said to use ffdshow for all codecs (audio & video), include H264. And it is the only decoder for H264 I have on my system. I've been told about CoreAVC, but it seems not to be get [http://www.coreavc.com]. Moreover, zapping is very very long... Do you have any advice for me ? Thank you very much. David. Quote
nigelbb Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 ffdshow does not work for DVB-S HD. You need to use either PowerDVD 7 (this came with my technotrend S2-3200 DVB-S2 card) or CoreAVC. Quote

Hi, Sorry but I have not seen your answer before ;-) OK. It was the conclusion I had found ! CoreAVC seems to be great... Thank you very much. David. Quote
