ginacman Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 Has anyone successful getting the Nero Video Decoder HD hooked by DVBViewer? What I only get doing is the Cyberlink AVC/PDVD7 decoder, kept hooked reagardless forcing Nero. I'm interested in tentatively using Nero to avoid the problems of Cyberlink with accelerations of Ati cards, that produce flickering or trembling edges of vertical traits. Thanks Quote

Thanks Nero codec connects only to own pin. A possibile workaround maybe renaming DVBViewer.exe in recode.exe (the same name of one of Nero applications), but I don't know if Dvbveiwer works that way, and anyway results aren't assured with Nero codec. By the way, the problem between Ati cards and Cyberlink may be due to a commercial dispute: afaik Ati/AMD crippled the support for Cyberlink's DXVA for H.264 in their latest drivers...at least that's what I've heard recently. That would be, perhaps, one more reason urging Nero to release their pins' specs. Quote
