Recording Service Problems

The Recording service started producing 0-byte .ts files. It used to work fine for a while. I have no idea what caused it to stop working. Also I have not found any help by reading all available documentation and trawling the forums so I decided to make this thread. Somebody had the service producing 0-byte ts files because of bad signal quality but that shouldn't be the case with me because recording works perfectly if DVBViewer itself is running. The recording service logs don't reveal anything.

If I left anything necessary out just ask me.

Any ideas how to fix the service recording?

HW specs:

Motherboard is a Abit AB9 Pro with intel p965 chipset and newest drivers.

Display adapter is a geforce 7900gtx with forceware 93.71 drivers.

DVB-C adapter is a Terratec Cinergy with BDA Driver 4.8.17

i have tested a few things: german thread -> http://www.DVBViewer.info/forum/index.php?...mp;#entry133915

just try to change somethings in config of DVBViewer

1. raise the recording cache in recording site of config to 7mb

2. change the time for retune in hardware config to 3 sec.

also check that under plugins the "use recording service" is checked... i know.. you have...

the recording works for me now...

hope it helps u!
