Pro_favorites And Channel Groups

For me it seems like a bug but others would rather put this in the wish section

 

Apparently the Pro doesn't store the channel group for the favorites. Having several groups (ABC) of channels in the channel list with identical channels in different groups (different preferred hardware) the selected favorite will be linked to the first channel found which could be in the wrong group.

Groups are stored for channels not for favorites. Favorites are identified via the ID. If you have channels which generate identical IDs it will always find the first matching channel.

 

It's not a bug, it's by design. Nothing we can do. Tipp: Rename the channels so you get unique IDs.

hopefully the new setting design will take this into account. The proposed workaround is too combersome to take into consideration in particular with a long and volatile channel list..
