Andyba Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 I'm just playing around with Vista and DVBViewer Ge 2.2.5.0 to see if I can get BBC HD. I'm receiving it OK on XP MCE, (my main system) so I think I'm on the right track!! When running DVBViewer I get an error "Cannot load DVBViewer Filter, error 0x80040154 (unknown error code) I have tried searching the board, but unfortunatly German is not my strong point. Any assistance appreciated. TIA Quote
hdv Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 Hello, have you registered the PushSource.ax with the Register_Filters.bat in DVBViewer GE/Filters folder? Please give more information, Before posting a bug or problem please read -> support.zip Quote

hdv Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 Hello, but the Filter is not present in the Systeminfo.txt (support.zip) your file shows this: ------- System: ------- DVBViewer Version: 2.2.5.0 OS: Windows Vista DirectX: 10.0 Memory: 1021 MB CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6600 @ 2.40GHz CPU Speed: 2395 Mhz CPU Count: 2 normaly it must show this: ------- System: ------- DVBViewer Version: 2.2.5.0 DVBSource Path: D:\Programme\DVBViewer GE 2.5.0\Filters\PushSource.ax DVBSource Version: 2.8.4.0 OS: Windows XP (Service Pack 2) DirectX: 9.0c Memory: 2047 MB CPU: Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 3.20GHz CPU Speed: 3214 Mhz CPU Count: 2 so i think you have problems to register the file, maybe not enough rights? What is, if you install the DVBViewer Pro, with this installtion, the DVBViewer Filter (DVB Source) will be registered. Sorry, but i don't have Vista. Quote
Andyba Posted April 22, 2007 Author Posted April 22, 2007 Thank you, and yes you are correct. Me not reading the screen messages when I ran Register_Filters.bat. I thought it was OK, but it was actually an error. Not sure why, but when booted into safe mode I was able to register. Same was true for the elecard demo decoder. Safe mode again to get it to register. Thanks for your help and time. Rgds Andy Quote
