miro111hrzg Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 is there any way to turn on status bar with the new skins or with a manual created skin? I noticed that is only available when there is no skin applied. I like to have that status bar turned on because I can see signal status and record status. With skins applied, I can't know if there is recording runned in the background or not. Quote
halalev Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 Hi! A good and important idea - so it's implemented for years: You can show/hide the status-/icon-/menu-bar by right-clicking (e.g. in full-screen-mode) in the tv-window and tick/untick the bar(s) you want to see. You can also use the default pre-defined keys on your keyboard. You can even define additional keys (keyboard and remote control) to show/hide the bars (I personal prefer "F9","F10",F11"). This works in windows-mode, full-screen - with or without OSD ... regards Quote
hdv Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 Hello, This works in windows-mode, full-screen - with or without OSDyes, but not if someone use a skin. I noticed that is only available when there is no skin applied. or with a manual created skin?i don't know, whether it possible to integrate this informations in a skin. Quote
miro111hrzg Posted April 29, 2007 Author Posted April 29, 2007 Great, but I said is there any way to enable status bar in skin mode? Maybe mr. C.Hackbart knows how to enable it. Quote
Lars_MQ Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 no not possible. christian will tell you the same Quote
miro111hrzg Posted April 29, 2007 Author Posted April 29, 2007 if it's not possible now, are they or christian planning to enable it in future versions? My opinion is that is really important. Just imagine you are off the keyboard and someone accidentally press the recording button , and program is in skin mode - you don't know if recording is active or not until you switch it back to No skin mode. rago Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 You cannot see the status bar in skin mode because the GUI is renderend with the the GUI engine instead of the normal rendering you see in skinless mode. This means your request would mean some serious work on the supllied GUI Engine for skin mode and this would cost a lot of time. The progress on the skinengine and the resuling outcome would just not outweight the cost in development time. Quote
