channeledit, how does it work?

I JUST don't understand how the channel editor works, there is no manual andi cant find where i save my channellists? Can somebode please explaint to me how it works or is there a guide out the somhere?

 

I also have another questio, how do you "learn" other remotes to work with dvb? I downloaded both the plugin for mce, and the firedtv one, but i cant make them work.
