neophyte Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 I can't understand what the reasons can be for adopting rules for the choice of keyword(s) which forbid the use of initials. This seems totally pointless to me. It prevents me doing a search for threads containing references to "BDA drivers" (for example). Why? How else can I search for such a subject? I don't even know what the initials stand for, and even if I did, no one EVER uses any expression other than "BDA", so a search using the words instead of the initials wouldn't find anything anyway!
