moyo Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 (edited) Hi, I have installed H.264 CoreAVC decoder (file CoreAVCDecoder.ax v1.3.0.0) and I, of course, I have selected to use this decoder as H.264 decoder (in Options -> DirectX). The sound is OK but the picture isn't. All I can see are coloured brands (see attached file ... picture snapshot). This brands are not "static" but they are changing depending on broadcasted program. Has anybody any idea where could be the problem ? Thank you. PS: I had to reduce attached image size because JPEG file was too big to be able upload it. Its original size was 1440x1088 pixels. Being CoreAVC, they don't respond to emails so nobody knows if they intend to fix it. Quote

moyo Posted July 5, 2007 Author Posted July 5, 2007 ... and is there any decoder supporting interlaced h264 properly? well, you were right! I've tried to use v1.2.0.0 instead of v.1.3.0.0 and it works! Thanx. Quote
arfster Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 ... and is there any decoder supporting interlaced h264 properly? Cyberlink's does, at least with my Vista/8500GT. In software mode you have to force bob in decoder properties, or it weaves everything. Mainconcept's software one seems OK too. Quote
Griga Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 All I can see are coloured brands Its original size was 1440x1088 pixels Tick Settings -> Options -> DirectX -> Video Format Detection. The CoreAVC must be informed about the resolution when connecting to the DVBViewer Filter, since it is not able to detect it by itself. Without pre-format detection the DVBViewer Filter reports 1920 x 1088 as default. Quote
