Derrick Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 (edited) I can confirm this problem. DVBViewer crashes with BSOD. AltDVB is playing but the picture is very jerky with lots of blocking artefacts. Dunno why DVBViewer is causing trouble. Apparently it's related to the nvidia driver but why not the same with altdvb and same direct show graph ??? maybe it's caused by an unusual resolution format? Rittberg Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 I have solved this problem by "uncheck" the DXVA in the PDVD video settings. Quote
Derrick Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 ..that doesn't answer the question why the dvbviewer_pro_beta crashes and not other programs. Quote
Griga Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 Used Filter 0: VMR 7 Renderer May be the OSD source that is connected to the renderer finally tips the balance. What about overlay? Quote
Derrick Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 Doesn't matter, all renderers will crash the DVBViewer. It didn't happen with an older version.. Quote
xzone Posted July 14, 2007 Author Posted July 14, 2007 my card skystarhd (powerdvd7) codec restart computer (all dvb program) restart luxehd tv but main concept codec good no problem interesting (=: Quote
Rittberg Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 but main concept codec good no problem interesting (=: Due to the fact that main concept codec doesn't use the DXVA. Quote

Hi derrick! As far as i understand he didn't say "beta" I never met any problem nor with LuxeTV, neither with the others. First, forget OSD, just try to choose renderer as "unchanged". Second, forget using HA(PVHD) with a 7900gt(never works), Third, change your GPU with an 8500 or 8600 if you want to activate HA and install 165.01 beta than beta(!) FW. (for XP) (thanks CiNcH) Last trick, while watching with "unchanged" renderer, start recording. (thanks griga!) After you can prepare freely a custom-made graph without an OSD filter with WMR9 and watch with best quality. Overlay mixer? I never prefer with its worst quality. best!
