KNC On2 S2 Plus with CineView CI vs CSAT Fr

DVBViewer is a great software but it is useless because I am unable to use the CineView CI module

of KNC One S2 Plus. So what can I do in order to use it ?

 

N.B. my KNC One S2 is working for unscramble tv channel like Astra HD1, Euronews, etc.

and the CI Menu is not available in both stable or beta version of DVBViewer.

 

My configuration :

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz, 2GB RAM, Vista Home Prenium 32Bits

KNC One S2 Plus

CineView CI

CAM AstonCrypt DVB-CI (Mediacrypt)

Canal+ CanalSatellite (Original and working on Humax and on GlobalTV with WDM)

BDA 1.7.4.2 Beta 32 Bits on Vista

Microsoft Visual C++ runtime 2005 (x86)

kncbdactrl.dll from GlobalTV 2.1.1.4 Build 0.5.0.4 Betaversion 32 Bits

DVBViewer 3.6.4.20 beta (also 3.6.1.20)

If you will never support it please tell me if you will support the CI

I bougth your software because KNC One S2 Plus is listed on your feactures list but you don't tell the truth about CI supported or not

What you need is this (as reported in the German section of this board, source):

 

- DVBViewer Pro Beta

- the latest KNC BDA driver

- the file KNCBDACTRL.dll (see here) in the DVBViewer directory

- a GlobeTV installation, in order to get some other DLLs (MS runtime libraries needed by KNCBDACTRL.dll, see here).

You are right. I shouldn't try to do support while I'm involved in heavy coding.
