DVB-S Channel Scan -> no polarity selection

OK, I have installed DVBViewer Pro but have some questions.

I am using a Twinhan 1025 DBV-S hooked directly to a c-band lnb-f in NA.

I go into channel scan and make up a target root name "G4"

I set the LOF's and symbol rate.

There is no place to select polarity.

I enter a single frequency and hit scan frequency.

I get the channels I expect to, but only because the transponder is horizontal polarity.

I enter a different frequency (one that is vertical polarity) and I find no channels because there is no way for me to tell it to use vertical polarity.

My channel list "edit and tune channels" does not look like the one in the manual. The example in the manual has three tabs, "channels" "edit" "channel scan" and it shows a status selection with polarity selection.

I created a transponder.ini file in the transponder folder, but it dosn't show up in the transponder list to scan.

I really don't want to scan entire satellite for the few transponders that I need.

Please point me in the right direction!

Use TransEdit (-> members area) as scanner. It will make things clearer for you.

Thanks,

I'll give it a try.
