migas Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Hi, I have DVBViewer 3.6.1.20, running with Windows XP. I'm having a recording problem when I use te scheduler. I program the time for the recording to start, I close DVBViewer, but when the start time comes, the DVB Service changes from iddle to recording, without operning DVBViwer program itself. The result is that DVVBViewer then can't recognise the recorded file format. But if I keep DVBViewer on, there is no problem in using the schedule, and the TV program file format plays OK. I dont understand what is wrong? Should I not install DVBViewer Service? But then, how will DVBViewer auto-start to start the scheduled event? Please help! Kind Regards, Nuno (migas) Quote
Tjod Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 If Rec.Service is installed it will make all recordings will DVBViewer is not ruining. But it should take all configurations from DVBViewer Pro. If you like to yous only DVBViewer for recording uninstall Rec.Service http://www.DVBViewer.info/forum/index.php?...st&p=146889 and use DVB Task Scheduler (Memberssection > Main Application) [read the ReadMe-DVBScheduler.pdf]. Lars_MQ Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Let me guess, a encrypted channel? Maybe your CAM Module exspects a user entry (PIN). this won't work with the service, as stated in the svcreadme. Quote
migas Posted August 6, 2007 Author Posted August 6, 2007 I'm abble to schedule FTA channels, and they record OK. But when I schedule an encrypted channel, the DVBViwer Service records a format that DVBViewer will then NOT recognise. Is there a solution for scheduling a record for an encrypted channel? Should I uninstall DVBViewer Service and use other kind of plug-in/extra program for this feature? Please advise. Thanks. Kind Regards, Nuno (migas) Quote
Lars_MQ Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Try disabling the PIN request in the CAM, then it should work. Quote
