Danyboy Posted July 17, 2003 Posted July 17, 2003 Hi, I got a question about my Mainconcept MPEG encoder. When I want to encode my records (DVB) it always says "No Video Data found" Can you help me by saying what I have to do (perhaps preencoding by another program) to convert em. Thanks a lot Daniel Quote
Klausing Posted July 17, 2003 Posted July 17, 2003 which format you are using? For me it works fine. Try a make ps with pvastrumento and after that using Mainconcept Encoder. Quote
Klausing Posted July 17, 2003 Posted July 17, 2003 Do you get a good quality with the mainconcept encoder? He is on of the fastest encoders which i know (2 hours video converted to SVCD in 2hours !!!) but the quality was not so good. IMHO the quality of the Cinema Craft Encoder is better. Maybe i made something wrong in the settings. Do you use special settings or the standard settings? Steffen Quote
dankescheen Posted July 17, 2003 Posted July 17, 2003 Hi Steffen, you're right - the quality is not like CCE or TMPGEnc. There are some possible ways in the settings to enhance the result....but slows down the speed. I was able to test the encoder from a to z, because a very good friend bought the software. AFAIK is CCE the only Encoder that uses Assembler-Routines to encode, so it's very hard to be better in speed. The Encoding-Q. of CCE & TMPGEnc is almost the best. Mainconcept & Ligos GoMotion are the 2nd row.... But....Mainconcept is a easy SW for Beginners - thats all.. @Danyboy - Great signature Quote
