accolon Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 How do I set up DVBViewer to play internet radio streams such as shoutcast?? Preferably so I can use the OSD to start the streams! Thanks beforehand Accolon Quote
Tjod Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 You have to build .murl files. 977 Hitz Channel.murl [InternetShortcut] URL=http://64.236.34.97:80/stream/1074 Description=.977 The Hitz Channel and if you put a 977 Hitz Channel.jpg in the same folder it will be shown as icon. Than add the folder in witch the *.murl files are to Options > Music VirtualPath. Now you could open them via htpcHome > theMusik Here you will find some examples. Quote

Tjod Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 The .png image must be converted to JPEG (.jpg). Quote

krasno Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 ehmm Maybe I don't undetstand the above at all.. is it possible to play a forexample this link, stream, or what ever to call it, using DVBViewer? http://planetrock.radica.com/listen-again.htm and if then how to... ? If the question is stupid.. them pls forgive me.. If not possible, It could be a great funcktion thing to add.. and also streamning video from the web. if possible at all of course.. Quote
hackbart Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 You need a proper link for playback, in this special case you can open the stream inside the DVBViewer if you load the following url: http://tx.sharp-stream.com/tune.php?c=planetrock&.wax= Christian Quote
dvbrewer Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 How do I set up DVBViewer to play internet radio streams such as shoutcast?? Preferably so I can use the OSD to start the streams! Thanks beforehand Accolon IMO it would be easier for you to use a site such as Reciva, Pure Lounge, Vtuner in a browser and set up VLC player to play m3u and wma files - you may also need to select vlc to open asf asx and m3u links in your browser options.
