Channels not linked to capture cards?

Hi,

 

I have setup 3.8 with two capture cards. Both these cards have there own cable towards the dish, so no diseqc is used. Now how can i link a card to a satellite?

Do I have to disable one card to get the correct card being selected for the channelscan? Not very nice if that's the case.

You have to use groubs. In Options -> Hardware, enable only group A for the first card and only groub B for the second card.

Then in channel scan do a scan for group A and a second scan for group B.

 

If you ever import channels or something like that, you will have to be sure that the groups are correct in the channel settings (DVBViewer will set them correctly if you scan for yourself).
