satnerd Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 Hi I'm using DVBViewer 3.8.0.0 and transedit 3.0.8.0 I've manually added Sirus on 4,8east and added every valid Viasat transponder with the right frequency, polarisation, SR and FEC values, and QPSK modulation in transedit. With both a singel frequency scan and a complete scan in transedit the TV 3 channels on the 12054 freq. are listed. When I save this list, and put it in c:\documents and settins\all users\application data\CMUV\DVBViewver\Trasponders\ and do a full scan in DVBViewer - I don't get the TV 3 channels. Only if I manually select the frequency it gives me the 12 channels on that frequency. Is this a known bug? Quote

Transedit tuned all freqs whats active from Telstar, right now. When I want scan in DVBViewer Pro, 2 freqs skipped as without signal. Manually, or Range scannig, never not locked . These freqs have a higher SR, not needed longer time for tunning proc. In Transedit both transponders are locked in the moment. Signal 100%. Is difference in HW options of DVB Cards, between Pro and Ge (Transedit) versions of DVBViewer. Thats important for some HW and their tunning possibiities, I thing. For Author: Can You create Pro version with HW options of DVB cards from Ge? Thanks for reply. Now I use XP SP2, DVB-S2 card - TT-S3600 (USB). When I used XP SP1, I hadn't any DVB-S2 channels in Pro version. In XP SP2 is all Ok, only this problem with some transponers. In Ge version and Transedit is all Ok, every time. What's your type of DVB Card? Quote
Benarty Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 Post a support.zip file. Vista64 is still not the best solution IF the manufacturer of the DVB card is still at beta level of it's X64 drivers. In such case it's safer for a 32 bit OS like XP or Vista32. in case of xp: Be sure to install KB896626 and KB885222 Quote
satnerd Posted August 26, 2007 Author Posted August 26, 2007 Sorry, but how do I generate the "support.zip" file? And I've got the KB's I'm running win xp sp2, (32bits) and the hauppauge hvr-4000. Still waiting for the CI, but still want/need to be able to scan the channels. Quote
