Smeghead Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 Sorry if this isnt the right place, if it isnt please tell me where to post it thanks.... I bought the Twinhan ATSC D+A and its working ok. Model 32500 My problem is im not very impressed with the HDTV quality. I have a comcast HD cable box connected to my cable source, then an Svideo cable going from the HD cable box the ATSC D+A card inside my PC. I can watch HD channels, but I dont get the Comcast menus when on an HD channel, and that usuall means that it ISNT actually 1080i because I went through this before with my Big Screen TV. I dont think im actually getting 1080i like I should. Can you think whats wrong? Quote
Moses Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 I'm quite sure that S-Video connection is not able to transport a 1080i Signal. You'll need a DVI or HDMI connection. Quote
hackbart Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 What is with connecting the ATSC-Digital input with your cable junction directly? Christian Quote

The PCI card doesnt have those connections. I guess I need to bypass my comcast cable box and go straight to the PCI card with the cable from outside? *update* I just tried that and it only found about 70 channels, my cables providers HD channels are in the 300s I dont get it Edited August 29, 2007 by Smeghead Quote

Try fusion cards Quote
