I would be grateful for assistance in arranging the satellite list.

I believe the manual mentions using "Satellite.ini" instead of

"Satellite.dat" which I assume is used in the installation program.

This would make it easier for me to modify the list for the changes

taking place in the Asia-Pacific region

However,there is no mention of how this is achieved. (My computer

skills are fairly basic)

Incidentally,Optus B1 has been out of service for about 9months,and

replaced by Optus D1 in the same orbital position (160 E)

I'm not sure what you are talking about..

Maybe "transponder lists"? That are the lists, which specify which frequencies are used on each satellite. They are saved in your configuration folder (DVBViewer->About->Configuraition Folder) in the folder "Transponders" as *.ini files, which can be edited with a text editor. In the membersection of the DVBViewer page you can find transedit, which is an app that can help you to update / edit / manage your transponderlist.

I hope that can help you a bit :blush:

//Edit:

There is just one channels.dat in your configuration folder, which saves all the channels for all the satellites in your channellist in DVBViewer. You can fill the list with channel scan and then edit it with channel editor.
