vipersan Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Hi friends .. Its been a couple of months since I posted after trying to get my previous epia sp1300 /mce setup to work with my s2-3200 I now have a brand new build and need some advice before I try again with DVBViewer and the s2-3200 The new system is as follows Antec Fusion Case + psu AN-M2HD main board (m-atx) 2gb matched ram Athlon 64 dual core processor 4400+ ..and have installed Vista Premium running in 32 bit mode As yet I have not fitted the S2-3200 pci card So ..my questions are :- Does the latest DVBViewer run ok under Vista premium in x32 mode ? (I have purchased a previous DVBViewer pro version) If so .. What drivers do I need to get as I only have the origional XP compatible bda drivers and TT software supplied on disc when I bought the card.. Can I still use any of this to provide the H264 drivers I need (installed with the supplied integrated powerdvb) If anyone has been down this route could they please help me out with a what to install and in what order.. Im not yet too familliar with Vista ...so am very unsure how to proceed.. rgds and thanks Quote
adriankendall Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 I have the latest version running under vista no problem, i would sugest you make sure vista is patched with all the latest udates and you have got the latest drivers for all your other hardware ( sound card, video card ) if the're on board a vist to the website of the motherboard manufacturer should do the trick. When the PC run nice and stable for a few hours and you know you have got a good starting point to add to I would add the DVB card and drivers. If that goes OK I would add DVBViewer and codecs and get that running. If you break the process down into steps and test after each one if it goes wrong along the way you know which step broke the system and go to the right place for help. AK Quote
