Choppy picture on HD channel

I have recently finished building a HTPC which I'm very pleased with. I get great picture on all channels including SVT HD (a swedish HD channel in 720p).

But there is one channel that does not work correctly and that is Canal+ Film HD which transmits in 1080i. The picture is choppy and the sound is out of sync.

Could the problem be that it transmits in 1080i? Is there any difference in the way its displayed when it's 1080i?

Is there anyone here from Sweden that recognizes this problem with Canal+ Film HD?

I'm using Cyberlinks PDVD7 H.264 codec, AC3Filter and the latest forceware beta from NVidia (163.44).

Do you hae the same issues on Astra HD and AstraHd1 channels? If so, try using Elecards (www.elecard.com) decoder. I have had the same issues (as many others in this forum) with Cyberlinks ones.

Problems solved with Elecards though. Unfortunately you will have to pay again :) And CPU utilization is much higher than Cyberlinks one...
