Editing BBCHD recordings

Is there a reason why all the h264 editing programs fail to open any of the bbc recordings using latest DVBViewer from the last few months or is this problem limited to my setup.

 

All other h264 recordings from other channels work flawlessly.

Yes

 

It was very useful with previous versions to enable proper playback but doesn't seem to help when trying to edit/cut files using TSeditor or H264TS_Cut.

How do they fail? You will have to provide more information if you want it to get solved. These lazy two-sentences-postings are leading nowhere...

have you tried this utility ?

 

Its really best for trimming the start and end. It can cut adverts but there will be a glitch.

Yes thats one of the programs I use but I get the following error when I load the file:

 

Error attempting to open video

unspecified error

error no file open

 

With H264TS_CUT I get the following error on loading File

 

Could not int. video playback

DS error

(Unspecified error)

 

If there is more information that may be useful then I will try to provide it.

Just a quick note to add that recordings made with GE work with no problems.
