Derrick Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 I'm afraid nobody here will understand what you're talking about. my LNB config:COM 1: sat 119 COM2: sat 110 ..could you translate this to standardized terms or give more information? Quote
jrusa Posted September 28, 2007 Author Posted September 28, 2007 (edited) DishPro Dish 500 is a very popular LNB on USA. It is allow you to get 2 satellites on 4 different receivers. You can find more information here: http://www.centralsatellite.com/productview-262.html or here: http://www.radioshack.com/sm-more-product-...pi-2193611.html jrusa Edited September 28, 2007 by jrusa Quote
Derrick Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 The links don't provide useful technical information. You could try to find out yourself by permutating the diseqc settings (A/A, B/A, A/B, B/:blink:. If a scan finds the wanted channels, you've got your diseqc setting for this particular satellite Quote
jrusa Posted September 28, 2007 Author Posted September 28, 2007 I tried but I didn't found useful information to "permutating" your current A/A, A/B, etc. to DishPro DiseqC setup. The issue is need to set the correct Port to each sat (Por t 1 to Echostar 7 and Port 2 to Echostar 110). Some others DVB software (like MyTheatre) already handle the DP setup. Maybe will be an advantage for you if you include this handle as a feature on your application Some information found maybe useful to implement this feature: http://www.dbstalk.com/archive/index.php/t-5914.html http://ekb.dbstalk.com/dish500.htm http://www.dbstv.com/u_dish_network/DishNet_DishPro_QnA.pdf jrusa Quote
