Record with dvb-t subtitles

Hi,

 

when recording DVB-T program with DVB-T based susbtitles, how does one get those subtitles into the recorded file?

 

Is MPEG good format for this or should the TS be used instead?

 

And/if the TS is correct one, then how do I convert it to MPEG with subtitles burned to it?
