Tompson Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Hello Hope i havent screwed place to post, anyway here is my question. Id like to understand if when i register in .ts format (with DVBViewer 3.8.0.0 but question is general), the program change the aspect ratio or if it doesnt care at all and simply register as it is trasmitted without touching anything (as i wish). Tryed asked around but no one seems to know or cares. Thanks in advance Quote
Moses Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 if you set to record in *.ts format DVBViewer writes down exactly what is broad casted. Aspect ratio is not changed. Aspect ratio isn't changed in mpeg, either, as far as I know. Quote
Griga Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 The aspect ratio is specified in the video sequence headers, and they are written unchanged to MPG/TS files, as broadcasted. Quote
Derrick Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 ..and they are written unchanged to MPG/TS files, as broadcasted. ..in case of PS (MPG this is not true Quote
