Zero7 Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Hi, I have looped out LNB cable from STB to Skystar2 PCI. Most of the times, dish could be on a different satellite than the one last tuned in the DVBViewer. So when I start DVBViewer, last viewed channel does not come up. To change the channel using remote or to start watching a movie, picture etc, I have to get the OSD menu up. I can't get the menu, unless I use the mouse, open the channel list and tune to active channel. How to get OSD Menu without doing this? Can I get the DVBViewer start with OSD Menu instead of starting with a TV Channel? I would like to use DVBViewer as HTPC software and not as a TV Viewer alone. Quote
Lars_MQ Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 disable tune last channel in the options/tv&radio. Quote
smboards Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Kind of the same problem occurs during normal operations also. If I happen to tune to a channel with no signal (I do have some long-distance DVB-T channels that are not always available because of the weather) then I lose the OSD and along with it any possibility to leave the channel. Sometimes the OSD becomes responsive again after quite a while, sometimes not at all. The problem seems to be most prominent when using ChUP/ChDOWN to reach problematic channel. What should I do to prevent OSD freeze on dead channel? Quote
Moses Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 select Overlay as video renderer. All others won't work if there is no video to render. DVBViewer should still react on ch+/- though, so you should be able to zap away. May tike a while though. Quote
