sound but no Video...help?

Hi

I'm just trying out DVBViewer on my laptop. It has installed OK, but there is no video.

 

Channels scanned OK and I get audio but just an (almost) black video window.

 

There was no MPEG2 decoder installed to start with, but I now have ELECARD and Dscaler installed but still no video when these are selected in the DirectX part of Settings.

 

Can anyone suggest what to look at next?

well compare your settings with your main computer where you installed you DVBViewer licence.

I don't currently have access to the other computer, but I made no changes to the default settings when I installed there. The only difference will be that there is a CyberLink decoder there.

 

I was considering switching my DVBViewer installation from my main (work) PC to the Laptop so I could take it on holiday with me, but it looks like I can't do it easily, so I'll just stick with things the way they were.
