lizak Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 Could you add timeshift in RAM. I'm useing laptop for watching TV, and timeshift in harddrive isn't very good becouse of power consumpcion and temperature. Sorry for my very bad english. Quote
Tjod Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 Sorry such a possibility will not be integrated. Because for this the file size of the Timeshift file must be limited. And that will cause many problems. Quote
Benarty Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 You could install Ramdisk software. Such software add's the ramdisk as an extra drive. Create the timeshift folder on that ramdisk. Be carefull, timeshift files can be large and if the ramdisk is not big enough then the result will be a DVBViewer errror which is NOT a fault of DVBViewer but of the limited ramdisk space. Benefit of the ramdisk : absolutely none. Quote
