Multicard using and Preview control

Hi,

 

Now I can use multicard in DVBViewer Pro V 3.9.0.0 such as ; in main window TT S2-3200 card (driver 5.0.0.2) , in preview SS2 card ( driver 4.4.1.2 ), with OS Vista Ultimate 32. as can be seen in picture below

 

 

My Problems;

 

1-) I can reposition the preview easily , but how can I resize the Preview window?

2-) Is there a way to control Preview window sounds ( can't hear sound from preview)?

3-) How can I record Preview and main window seperatly and simultaneosly?

 

So sorry, if my questions not relevant. And I used search button as "multicard " , but can't find something what I'm looking for in English.

Hello,

 

1) and 2)

if you have preview activated use OSD-Blue [F8], and show the Help. There is all keys illustrated

 

3)

if you have preview active and start a record, the preview is close.

So its necessary that you select every channel manually and press record.

Good question that i have been wondering as well.

I see both channels are SD mpeg2.

Have you tried also one HD and one SD channel together?

mummum69, if you don't mind i want to ask an additional question to yours.

 

How can we adjust directX settings separately or can we?

in GE version I manage to see HD channel in main window, and SD channel in preview Window. Can't obtain HD channel in Preview window ( No EVR choice in Preview). You can see directx settings and CPU % in picture below

 

 

Note: We can record seperately at the same time in GE version

Have you given it a go with two programs at the same time.

Pro for SD with overlay selected, GE for HD with EVR selected or

GE for SD with EVR selected; GE again for HD with EVR selected?

for first option :

 

Pro--> WMR9/overlay--> SD Channel and GE--> EVR--> HD channel working together without any problem

 

 

for the second:

 

please see my last post. No EVR option in GE for preview. Am I misunderstood something?

Good news.

I was just wondering multiple GEs or Pros are working at the same time since you have two tuners

At least one Pro and one GE are working together.

No double window in Pro, nor GE.

 

We have to use only one window for each ,

or Preview operation for multicard for pro And GE,

or Pro and GE seperately again for multicard.

Sorry guys,

but i've never understood what hdv says.

I can not get help with F9.

Second, i can not adjust DX settings with Pro in Preview window.

Third, with one card i want to get preview a second channel from the same TP, how can i manage it?

first try F8

second try the options

third try switching the channel.

the questions related in your last post in this topic ,for the PRO version 3.9.0.0, my info listed below;

 

for the first, you have to change Language to English, then pressing F8 will show up the preview help menu, when preview is activated.

 

second, the route ,settings/options/directx/preview, gives us options as in picture below. As you can see there is limited choices for render and H.264 video decoder. Is it means that we can't preview HD channels?

 

 

 

for the third, when WMR9 is selected on Dx settings, after preview is activated, you can change the chanell on the same TP in main window only . If WMR9 is not ticked on Dx settings ( for preview), the preview window freezes.

Hi mummum69!

What is interesting here i've noticed admins, mods, community creators and some experienced users visited your topic but no one has told more than one instances are possible at the same time.

For instance two GEs are able to work together.

So we are talking to each other as newbies without any caution.

I think we have to learn "how to"s by ourselves without any aid because everything is written in the manual and we should have read it carefully

We might have missed something in the manual which has never been written
