Gae41 Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 OK, I just upgraded my graphics card to a Geforce 8400 in order to improve HD DVD playback in Power DVD Ultra. It's now running smoothly and I can watch films over a digital connection!! So everything is great.......accept. BBC HD has gone doolally in DVBViewer. All the other channels play fine but there is some conflict with reception of BBC HD. Something is wrong, possibly in the filters and the picture is running jerkily and with audio dropout. I had this problem when I first installed DVBViewer a year or so ago but I cant for the life of me think what it is. I've re-installed DVBViewer and all other related software, graphics card and audio drivers, AC3 filter etc etc but it's still the same. This is just regarding reception I must add. I've tested recording and playback of the BBC HD TS files (in TS player) and they are all fine which is some consolation at least. I noticed one thing different in the Options Direct X decoders section. Arcsoft video and audio filters are still showing up in there even though I uninstalled the demo of Total Media Extreme which I was testing last week. The filters are still there. Is that normal after uninstallation? I guess this is a register of filters and/or compatibility issue but as I dont have much understanding in this area it looks like I'm stuck for now. Any help would be much appreciated. Gae Quote
