McenterFreak Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 I have a Technotrend Budget S2-3200 with CI Unencrypted channels shows fine, but i can't watch encrypted channels In TT MediaCenter all channels can be viewed without problem, so the CAM works fine In the option "Has CI" is checked I use Thor at 1 degree west, Telenor channels DVBViewer is V3.9 Quote
Lars_MQ Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 you installed the downloadable technotrend dll with the setup? Quote
Moses Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 (edited) did you install the technotrend dll? Go to system controls->software, locate DVBViewer, click on change. The setup allows you to download a list of components at some point. Do that. Now select the support for technotrend cards or similar. Edited October 29, 2007 by Moses Quote
Moses Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Yes, I forgot... just got confused by all that german words in my head like "Systemsteuerung" and so on... but I already recognized it after posting... Quote

"Go to system Controls>Software" Where are this options, in DVBViewer? In Windows? Regedit? Quote
McenterFreak Posted October 29, 2007 Author Posted October 29, 2007 you installed the downloadable technotrend dll with the setup? It did not ask for it and i think i missed it. How do i do it next time? Quote
Moses Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 If you got that dll, you did everything correct, already. I was talking about windows... basically the idea was to run setup again. You can do that there or using the link "Modify DVBViewer" in startmenue. On the 4th page the setup asks if you want to download and install additional components. If you enable that checkbox, you'll see a list of components and in that list there is "Support for Technotrend cards" somewhere. This will install the ttBdaDrvApi.dll for you, too. Is your problem resolved, now, or do you still can't watch encrypted channels? Does the CAM say anything? Quote

Thanks Just for info: After that a channel scan is needed I really don't understand why the installation program dosen't do the trick automatically if a TT card/TT BDA drivers is installed at the installation moment Edited October 30, 2007 by McenterFreak Quote
