DVBviewer - Video Renderer

I have found that I get the best picture using Neros codecs and Video Renderer = Unchanged. If I use Overlay mixer the picture becomes "unstable".

My problem is that when I Start DVBViewer I got no picture. The solution is to choose DirectX in the option menu and turn the Video renderer to Overlay mixer, chose apply and then turn back to Unchanged followed by apply.

Irretating and not very convenient!

Is there anyone that have an explination or a solution to this problem?

Do you live this issue with FTA channels or the encrypted ones?

I use the Swedish ComHem (Tv through cable) and I have booth encryptet and none encryptet channels! I have used some other codecs (Nvidia Pure video, ffdshow etc) together with overlay mixer which have worked fine but I don´t get as good picture as I get with Nero Codecs and Video Renderer = Unchanged!

Nero is known well for their dvd/cd burning program, but they really suck at codecs. so use another codec and you will not have the problem.

The Nero Codec is not the problem. If I use codecs from ffdshow I get the same result with Video Renderer = Unchanged. It´s seems like that the DVBViewer can´t start (No picture) if the Video Renderer is set to Unchanged.

I think you need a clean reinstall of Pro.
