Moses
Did you install the MCE drivers? You need to install the BDA ones to get DVBViewer Pro running with your FireDTV! Only the bundled FireViewer is able to run with both driver packs. Quote Link to comment

Lars_MQ
In options -> hardware -> delete the device and do a manual detection and try not to play around with the options there, leave it to the defaults. Quote Link to comment
foppwin
when I scan for hardware it finds these: unicast network device multicast network device FireDTV BDA tuner DVB-C I have triend to delete the 2 others and then go to channel -> channel scan but there is still not any hardware avaiable. I am using vista ultimate Quote Link to comment
foppwin
when I try with TransEdit it tells me that hardware is not correct try redetect. when I do that i says that my fireDTV is a Terrestial device. but it is a DBV-C Quote Link to comment
Moses
if it detects the DVB-C device, that is most probably, because you installed the MCE drivers and not the BDA ones! Windows Media Center (MCE) can only handle DVB-T, because of that the MCE driver from digital everywhere register the devices as DVB-T devices and then do some mapping to the real tuner or something like that! Please try to uninstall all drivers and other software from digital everywhere. Then run the "integrated driver setup" again and in the installer select "BDA Setup" and not MCE!! I'm talking about the latest drivers from digital-everywhere.com. Quote Link to comment
ricabullah
when I scan for hardware it finds these: unicast network device multicast network device FireDTV BDA tuner DVB-C I have triend to delete the 2 others and then go to channel -> channel scan but there is still not any hardware avaiable. I am using vista ultimate First of all follow moses' instructions. After doing that scan devices both with DVBViewer and Transedit. If problem still persists try to choose "preferred"option instead of "normal" under "Status" for BDA tuner. With earlier versions of Technotrend Budget drivers, i fixed the similar problem in this way. Edited November 12, 2007 by ricabullah Quote Link to comment
