Curlo Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 Hello, I have a problem with unicast and S2-3200 controlling SG2100 motor. Turning motor works fine with local machine in DVBViewer Pro with drivers 4.xx. Only problem is that when I change to another satellite I have to select another frequence after the turn or restart program to channel to show (this is always after motor turn), workaround for this is to use setting retune after 3 seconds. (couldn't this be done automatically in next version of DVBViewer software) . . . BUT using DVBServer and same settings as in DVBViewer Pro, this (retune after 3 seconds) workaround setting doesn't work for unicast network clients (I have tried stop stream while tuning and other settings...). Could someone help me in this? The clients have to restart DVBViewer or change to another channel to get the picture if they used motor (motor operates fine but no data shows up after the turn) I am using Usals goto angular. Could there be some setting that would make network stream work as fine as the local use of DVBViewer works. I have tried all settings both the server/client side but no use. Anyway thanks for developers for this great program =) Quote

Curlo Posted November 20, 2007 Author Posted November 20, 2007 I use version 3.90. What do you mean with usals setup screen. I don't have any problem with usals. My problem is that the picture/sound doesn't come up after motor has turned to another satellite (and retune trick doesn't work with network unicast clients, that trick works only with normal usage of DVBViewer Pro on local machine) Quote
Lars_MQ Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 (and retune trick doesn't work with network unicast clients, that trick works only with normal usage of DVBViewer Pro on local machine) Not true. it also works for network clients BUT you have to set the retuning time quite high (>10 sec.). Curlo Posted November 21, 2007 Author Posted November 21, 2007 OK, thanks for the info! I will try that. There is one thing what I don't know. There are settings on dvbserver and unicast client. Do I have to set these exactly same on both (server/client) or only on server, I mean settings like retune after xx seconds/CI-module/DVB-S2 and others. Quote
Lars_MQ Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Retune can differ but the other settings (tunertype, CI, DVB-S2 and so on) must be the same. Quote
Curlo Posted November 22, 2007 Author Posted November 22, 2007 (edited) Retune can differ but the other settings (tunertype, CI, DVB-S2 and so on) must be the same. Well it didn't work with unicast clients using over 10 seconds retune times (nothing changed with the problem). I have no idea now what to do? Edited November 22, 2007 by Curlo Quote
