Kevin Bishop Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 I am running DVBViewer v3.9.0.0 under Vista with dual Technotrend S2-3200 cards with single CI and Sky Digital PTV card. I am perhaps a little spoilt by my old SKY+ box but is it possible to record two different channels, one on each card, and watch a recording of something previously recorded? I tried it the other evening and got an error. I haven't yet had a chance to retry and document the error etc. but while I was on, I thought I'd ask ;-) Also Sky+ has a very handy feature where you can set a program to record and half-way through the recording, you can start watching it from the beginning. Can DVBViewer do this? Perhaps using auto timeshift? Many Thanks, Kevin. Quote
Moses Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 It's possible to watch another recording, no matter how many recordings are going on in the background. It's possible to watch recordings that still are recorded. It's even possible to watch recordings that are recorded by another instance of DVBViewer on another computer using your network... I do this frequently... It's even better to watch a started recording than to use timeshift, in my opinion. Quote
