chrispazz Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 Hello. To download twice a week the EPG guide in MHW format, I have tried to schedule during night two timers for about 10 min. In the timer I only set to tune channel without recording but I have seen that in this case DVBViewer never put HTPC in hibernate after the expiry time of the timer has passed. Is depending on the not recording and only tuning or is another problem? Is there any other method to download the guide during night? Thank you Christian Quote

You must use a normal timer entry with the special action "No File Write". Now it is a normal timer with end action without writing data in a file. Quote
