themaster1 Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 (edited) Hi dear dvbV users, I've got a pctvsat ci and I have modified the drivers this card normally use in favor of the Twinhan VisionDTV 1 (DVB-S CI)'s ones (wdm drivers).Like this card is A: a clone of my card and B:compatible with DVBViewer I thought this time it would be properly detected.Guess what: all wrong->nothing even when I scan my system with "scan devices" This change/modification has been suggested by a friend & it worked like a charm with him but he has no idea why it won't work. So I ask you all dvbV experts, why? Is there a tool for DVBViewer to help for this step ? I'm looking forward for your contribution themaster1 Edited December 3, 2007 by themaster1
Tjod Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 I don't understand what you try to say. But the DVBViewer only work with BDA Drivers not with WDM driver.

Tjod Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 What did i do wrong? You did not read the Forum Rules § 13 Do not ask for or discuss plugins for descrambling/decrypting pay-tv or key-codes. Although the DVBViewer Pro provides full pay-tv functionality it must only be used in combination with a valid subscription of a pay-tv provider, a tv-card/box featuring a "common interface" (CI) and the corresponding "common access module" (CAM) with a smart-card. This applies regardless whether software-descrambling is allowed in your country or not.
