From the #16 line of the "New Version, 3.9.1.0" post:

 

- Change: H264 now works with PIP. Think twice before using HDTV H264 in both (Main and PIP).

 

How?

I guess as usual , i.e. you can activate it from the menu "View / Preview"...

With SD channels the PQ is acceptable but with H264 channels - no go
