recording error

Hi i just bought program some days ago, i can tune channels and the program overall is working fine, but i'm having 2 problems:

 

I cant record, when i try to record i receive the message i have to register my user password, i enter them and the program shutdown, and when i try to record again i receive the same message...

 

Also, i cant see the EPG channel information, "epg not available" in all channels, what can i do ?

please deinstall the viewer completly including programm folder and userdata folder to get rid of potential residue of a not legal previous installation.

 

Reinstall it and make sure you input the Userdata, you received upon purchasing the Pro, correctly during installation. Also verify your dvb provider does provide EPG.

I had the same issue.

 

If you are using Vista please make sure you remove all traces from DVBViewer not removed by the un-install script - i.e. in the register database, and in AppData and ProgramData folders ...

In private support I was accused for the same thing - i.e. to have a non-legal version on my PC - causing DVBViewer to request username / pasword. This was NOT the case, so my conclusion is that something is not working correctly under Vista. I'm sure that the un-install script doesn't work, it leaves data in the user DataApp folder and/or in the ProgramData folder, and it doesn't remove register database data.

 

Do you have experience with DVBViewer on Vista?
