accolon Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 When exiting DVBViewer to hibernation DVBViewer will still be closed when you wake the computer. I would like such a feature that automaticly starts DVBViewer when waking the computer from hibernation. Quote
Tjod Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 You have to use DVB Task Scheduler (Members Section) or DVBViewer Starter (Members Section). Put a shortcut to in the Autorun. If you use the Starter select "Start DVBViewer after Suspend or Standby" In Task Scheduler it is "Restart on Resume". Quote
SnoopyDog Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 ...or the software "HibernateTrigger" can do this Quote
pastimer Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 ...or the software "HibernateTrigger" can do this this could better be made a standard feature. it's what you would expect. the software is running so why not play the selected channel? Quote
Moses Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 you read wrong, it's about restarting DVBViewer after hibernation. If you use taskscheduler, DVBViewer will close itself down before hibernation/standby to handle faulty dvb drivers, that don't like standby / hibernation too much, when the device is still used and therefore "kill" recordings. J.B. Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Can anyone upload HibernateTrigger.exe somewhere as the original link is down and it never seems to have been hosted anywhere else? Quote
J.B. Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 (edited) Just in case anyone else ends up here looking for the program, the author's websites has moved to http://www.desimonesystems.com/suspendtrigger/index.php Edited June 17, 2008 by J.B. Quote
