Karill Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Hi, I'm unable to mount iso files with daemontools from within htpcHome (theMovies). I can see that DVBViewer is trying to launch deamon-tools (the icon shows up in systray) but it's not able to successfully mount the images. When I select an iso file from theMovies, it tries to browse the image file, instead of opening it using daemon. I have a correct path setup in the config, I'm using the latest version of DVBViewer and daemon-tools. I'm receiving no error messages at all. I'm running Windows Vista Enterprise 32bit. Thanks for an otherwise excellent piece of software. Quote

Karill Posted February 4, 2008 Author Posted February 4, 2008 Thanks for the reply. The problem is that i'm using MS Vista 32 Bit and there seems not be supported by Nero Image Drive. Will try to find some info about support for this. Best regards Karill Quote

AndersB Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 I use DaemonTools in DVBViewer to mount iso-files under Vista 32-bit. It has never worked perfectly but it does work if you give it time. Basically, what I have to do is: 1) Go to mymovies -> and click on the iso-file I want to mount. Hopefully, in the best of days, it will mount right away but 99 times out of a 100 all I get is an empty directory. 2) Go back and find another iso-file and try to mount that. 3) Regardless of outcome, I go back to the first iso-file I originally wanted to mount and try to mount that again. Now, it usually work - let's say every other time. If not, I go to step 2) again and so on. The daemon tools integration in DVBViewer have quite a lot left to wish for but I've learned to live with it. I've tried with different versions of daemontools but it's the same problem with all.
