AndersB Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 I am thinking of getting another reciever to be able to record while watching other channels but I have a few questions that I'd hope someone could answer. * Is it sufficient to have one subscription card in one of the recievers to be able to watch and record different streams simultaneously or do I need to get another card for the second reciever as well? * What about timeshift - is it possible to pause a stream and then change channel without loosing the timeshift recording? It would be nice if I could pause something, watch something else, and then return to the first channel and continue watching where I left off. /Andy Quote
Moses Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 (edited) first: no, you'll need a second CAM and Smartcard if you want to watch/record encrypted channels with both devices. second: that's not possible with timeshift and it's not something timeshift shoud do. You should use recordings instead for such purposes. Edited January 2, 2008 by Moses Quote
