Subscription card requirements with multiple recievers

I am thinking of getting another reciever to be able to record while watching other channels but I have a few questions that I'd hope someone could answer.

* Is it sufficient to have one subscription card in one of the recievers to be able to watch and record different streams simultaneously or do I need to get another card for the second reciever as well?

* What about timeshift - is it possible to pause a stream and then change channel without loosing the timeshift recording? It would be nice if I could pause something, watch something else, and then return to the first channel and continue watching where I left off.

first: no, you'll need a second CAM and Smartcard if you want to watch/record encrypted channels with both devices.

second: that's not possible with timeshift and it's not something timeshift shoud do. You should use recordings instead for such purposes.

Ok, so the second reciever can't use the smartcard found in the CAM of the first reciever?
