Omnithunder Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 I use : DVBViewer 3.9.2.0 with latest source filter and libfaad 2 wrapper filter Cyberlink PowerDVD Ultra 7.3.3516 I have some minor but annoying problems with DVB subtitles : When watching live broadcast, subtitles are in sync when there is dialogue, but they seem to "hang back" if there is no dialogue. That means they stay on screen till the next dialogue starts. When timeshifting or recording, subtitles are 5 +/- seconds in advance of dialogue. Does anyone have a solution for this, or is this a bug? Quote
flemschu Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Hi I and other Danes have the same Problem with the new version. It must be a Bug, but there is wery little help to be found in here concerning subtitles, cause not many contries use them. Where are you from ? Remember the supportzip ! or you will never get any help Flemming Quote
Omnithunder Posted January 29, 2008 Author Posted January 29, 2008 (edited) Hi ! I live in Norway. It seems as if I have solved my problem by luck. I installed VLC player to see if i could replay my recordings with correct subtitles. No luck playing the recordings at all, neither video or audio. VLC just crashed. I unistalled VLC completely. After that I re-registred libfaad2 Wrapper (AAC Audio Decoder) in DVBViewer. Then I tried around a bit with teletext, went back to DVB subtitles, without ATSC captions, and everything works. But I don't have a clue how or why this worked. And I'll include support.zip for later occations support.zip Edited January 29, 2008 by Omnithunder Quote
