Automatically export EPG > xml

Hi, Im wanting to automatically export the epg data to a xml file, whats the best way of doing this?

There is no way. you have to use the interface of the COM server to get the epg and the create a xml out of it.

Well it worked, I managed to do it with the com object. It automatically exports the epg into a XML file so i can import the data into Windows Media Center.

I have developed a tool called DVBViewer2xmltv and it exports the EPG into the xmltv format.

 

It's inlcuded in the attached package.

 

The apps is integraded in my MCE EPG solution. Here is a german manual:

Thats simular to what i did, besides how do you get at programe's Category?

Via the category id and then via language file. I can't remember the name of the file and I'm not at home ate the moment
