Paul R Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 I'm currently using the DVB WebScheduler application to schedule my recordings. The recordings are in a transport stream format and play back OK using DVBViewer after the recording has finished. However if I start to playback the recording before its completion, the playback goes back the beginning of the recording whenever I try to jump forward or back in the recording. Any ideas? Thanks, Paul Quote
dezzy Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 I have noticed the same problem. On the very few occasions when I wish to view a file while it is being recorded I use VLC player. Mostly I wait until the recording is complete, then use DVBViewer, which I prefer. There was a thread in the WebScheduler forum about some other playback software having a similar issue. The fix was to reduce the size of the "lumps" being recorded by WS. I am not sure if this would fix it for DVBV. Try posting in the WS forum or search for that thread. Quote
