calmissile Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 I purchased the pro version of DVBViewer for use with my Technotrend S2=3200. Also purchsed a S2-3650 CI (USB) unit and would like to use DVBViewer with it as well. Does viewer support the S2-3650 CI and if not, is there a plan to add it to the hardware list? Quote

I downloaded the updated driver (.dll) but when I check all the DVBViewer folder under the Program Files there is no existing dll file with that name to replace. Which folder does the updated file to into and does it replace an existing one? Quote
CiNcH Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 So you did not download this component when you installed the DVBViewer. Use most up-to-date version of DVBViewer. Place the DLL in the DVBViewer root folder. Quote

By any chance is there a Channel list that I can import for North America? Quote

calmissile Posted January 30, 2008 Author Posted January 30, 2008 Hope you read further in the thread I just posted the link to. You also have to install VC2005 SP1 runtimes. Well, this is enough frustration for a day. I uninstalled DVBViewer and reinstalled DVBViewer Pro 3.9.10 from scratch. 1st time was my mistake. I did not have an internet connection and the program installs anyway (without the added components). I selected all options on the install menu and then selected the following components A. CI Support for Technotrend B. X86 MS VC Runtime Libraries for Technotrend C. Technotrend Remote V1.1.A D. Webserver Control. In order to make the test as simple as possible I connected my working LNB for Nimik 1 from another receiver directly to the Technotrend S2-3650 CI. No switches selected. I am unable to scan for channels and see any response. Also, the LED does not turn from Red to Green while scanning. When I use TT-Media Center, the lamp changes from Red to Green and the signal levels are good. Obviously I am doing something wrong but need to take a break before I pull my hair out. I don't have a transponder list for North America so that I can try entering the parameters manually and try that. Will look for one on the Web. The date of the ttBdaDrvapi_Dll.dll file installed is 11/15/2007 I also installed the vcredist_x86.exe file that I downloaded from your link. There must be something in the configuration that I have set wrong. Any more advice is appreciated. Perhaps a stock configuration for Nimiq1(91DegW) and Echostar 8/10 (110DegW) and Echostar 7 (119DegW) Quote
