I've two questions I would like to solve.

Is it possible not to change the name of the timeshift file when I change the channel or when I restart DVBViewer?

When I want to record a channel and I already have a file with the name of the channel in the recordings path, is it possible to rewrite it? (I don`t want to create another file with the same name and -01,-02...).

Wouldt be very nice to have this "easy" feature because to join those files if You need that recording in one file for further use is annoying. The other way round, splitting the file to extract that segment you need is also a bit work, but I think rarly required.
