RR7 Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 if this is a bug report then i'll re-post there, but i've noticed that i cant see the dvd menu cursor when playing a dvd on DVBViewer. it's running under vista home premuim. if i use media center the menu works fine, i'm using the MS mpeg2 decoder for both, so i cant see what i can be doing wrong. changing renderer doesnt fix it. is there a magic set of options to bring my cursor back? RR7 Posted February 16, 2008 Author Posted February 16, 2008 i have vista tooand i had the same problem http://www.DVBViewer.info/forum/index.php?...rt=#entry173874 Sorry in Italian I think you have tochose the correct directx if i remember when i am at home i lookmy setting and tomorrow i post them i put that thread through the translator but its doesnt really give me an answer. i've chosedn the cyberlink decoder and this make no difference, when its playing i right click on view, the filters and it shows the ffdshow audio options, cyberlink video options, overlay renderer options, at the bottom of the menu it say 'DVD Navigator' and when i choose that i go no options windows or anything. under the directx / dvd options i cant see any option for the navigator only the video and audio decoder. the thread you pointed me too suggested that its not likelt vista causing the problem, so what is the case with this? RR7 Posted February 24, 2008 Author Posted February 24, 2008 I attach my Directx setting thanks. this did not work though, i put my settings to match including the cyberlink player and it simply does exactly the same thing under all cicumstances with the exception of making the video renderer 'unchanged' which resuts in no picture only sound. RR7 Posted March 4, 2008 Author Posted March 4, 2008 okay well i've decided to wipe vista and use XP Embedded now, and this problem has gone. it'd be nice to know specifically what causes this, but the above posts didnt resolve it for me. Quote
